- What the fuck does the Bush administration have against competent operations people? They cannot get competent operations people in Iraq, they cannot get competent operations people in FEMA, where else do they screw up getting competent operations people? I've not looked too hard, so I'm sure I've missed a few juicer examples.
- "Language included in the Defense Authorization Act, signed by President Bush last week, states that the inspector general’s office will halt its examination of those expenditures by October of next year." Government should never be without oversight. Yes, its a cost, but its a cost that taxpayers pay to know that their money is being used effectively.
