- Horrible Idea: TV at the Restaurant Table - The whole commentary is good, however the best line of the whole article is the tag line, "Table-top televisions at restaurants are the latest sign of America's impending culinary apocalypse." [Nov, 1 2006]
- Assassin Squirrel - Don't they realize that they don't want postal workers well, going postal on them? [Nov, 2 2006]
- I've been browsing pictures of airplanes around here - and I found all sorts of fun pictures: a British Airways 747 crossing the street, the same plane landing over a road at SeaTac, a Saudia Arabian Airlines 747 doing a nose plant, an Air Canada 747 doing a wheelie, and a 737 with lots of paperwork on the dash. Now who said flying wasn't any fun? [Nov, 4 2006]
- Church of England says right to life for newborns not absolute - Ahh.. Something tells me the worldwide Anglican Communion is going to rent.. I doubt it can take much more, especially with divergent beliefs such as this one.. [Nov, 12 2006]
- How do you get an aircraft across an ocean it wasn't designed for? - extra fuel tanks of course.. [Nov, 13 2006]
- Yes! Wireless power for the laptop - No more wires.. (okay its in the early early early theoretical stages.. but its still cool.) [Nov, 15 2006]
- The Science of Pricing - It's interesting to compare to The Long Tail of products. [Nov, 15 2006]

- Psychiatric Drugs in Children - As someone who took psychiatric drugs as a teenager, I don't want to dismiss them out of hand. However, I think that they can be over-prescribed. A quote from the article: "Fate Riske, 3, of Fond du Lac, Wis., takes two antipsychotics and a sleeping medicine to control what her mother, Elizabeth Klein-Riske, said were hours-long tantrums, a desire to watch the same movies repeatedly and an insistence on eating the meat, cheese and bread in her sandwiches separately." Um, that sounds like a normal three year old to me. Perhaps the tantrums are a bit long, but that should be taken care of behaviorally not pharmacologically. [Nov, 24 2006]
- Disgusting Capitalism - What does your soul look like if shopping matters this much to you? [Nov, 25 2006]
- Class-warfare - via the tax system. Ben Stein writes a compact and lucid commentary. [Nov, 25 2006]
- Peace Wreath - Why has peace become political all of the sudden? I don't get it. Last I checked "Peace on Earth" has long been a part of the holiday season themes. Plus the most insane quote I've seen "...some saw it as a symbol of Satan." Peace=Satan? WTF! What planet are these people from? [Nov, 28 2006]
