Elizabeth Toledo

Picture of Elizabeth ToledoElizabeth Toledo has been a leading voice of opinion and analysis for over 12 years at the local, state and national levels. She has appeared over 500 times on major news outlets, including guest spots on top rated shows such as Hannity & Colmes, The O'Reilly Factor, Equal Time, CNNFn, and Geraldo Rivera. She has provided news and analysis on headline social issues, Supreme Court opinions, elections, and international affairs. She has a substantial print and radio profile in addition to her television work, with a focus on talk show formats. She is currently a professional public speaker and has spoken at such venues as the Commonwealth Club in California and hundreds of campuses across the country.

Ms. Toledo has a unique ability to report on complex legal and social issues in a straightforward and easily accessible manner. She has done extensive writing on immigration and affirmative action laws and policies. She provided legal analysis on the impact of sexual discrimination laws in the workplace after Circuit Court and Supreme Court decisions were issued. She did a live remote interview on the day that Clarence Thomas was confirmed for the Supreme Court to discuss the controversy surrounding that decision. She has routinely provided analysis following each national election cycle.

Ms. Toledo has also interviewed some of the nation's top political and entertainment figures. Her list of interviews includes Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Congressmember Maxine Waters, Congressmember Pat Schroeder, Sarah Jessica Parker, and many others. She has co-produced two widely acclaimed documentaries and numerous commercials and promotional videos.

She has a demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with the nation's top business and government leaders. She has met with senior executives from the auto industry to assist their efforts in workplace equity, including the President of Ford Motor Company and senior officials from Mitsubishi. She met with top State Department officials in 1997 on the human rights abuses against women in Afghanistan. She met with Attorney General Janet Reno and senor officials from the FBI on the potential impact of federal hate crimes legislation. She met with Vice President Al Gore on the issue of women's equality.

She has held numerous community leadership posts, including national Vice President for the National Organization for Women. Her expertise in public relations has launched many social issues into a national spotlight. She began her media career as a teen columnist for the Tucson Daily Citizen. She is currently finishing a book and is a professional public speaker.
