Amy Sues is the Associate Director of Student Life for Health and Wellness Initiatives at Wright State University. She started at Wright State in 1993 on a Department of Education grant for Alcohol and other Drug education, which later blossomed into a permanent position. Her current role encompasses educating and intervening on critical health issues and circumstances that affect college students including alcohol and other drugs and sexual assault. Amy serves as the staff advisor to Lambda Union, WSU's organization for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and allied people. She is also the advisor for Peer 2 Peer, a student organization dedicated to providing health outreach to students from students. She received a Master's Degree in College Student Personnel in 1993 and a Bachelor's degree in 1991 from Ohio University. Amy is originally from Akron, Ohio. On a personal note, she married Howard Richardson in 1995 and gave birth to their daughter Nori in July 2001.
